So I've been thinking lately...

Did it hurt?

Shut up pebblehead. Anyway I was thinking of picking up another hobby, I mean running is fun and relaxing, and the Kung fu stuff Ran is teaching me is cool and all And spray painting while fun is kind of expensive without a job

But I was wondering what sort of hobbies the rest of you out there do for fun? Like I dunno, sports, crafts, but no stamp collecting. That's gotta be like the lamest of the lame.

Well... it's my job now, but it started out as a hobby. I work on cars, electronics and other mechanical things.

[identity profile] justoutrunyou.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
Huh...that sounds complicated.

Is it still fun now that it's your job? My dad used to make sculptures for fun but once it became his job he couldn't stand it so he quit.

[identity profile] drunkkareoke.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well... I am a machine myself, so it might be a little less complicated for me.

I still have fun, though. Sometimes the cars can be a bit.. ornery. But I feel like I can understand them. Everyone seems to think that's weird of me...

[identity profile] justoutrunyou.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
Oh that makes sense.

I kinda understand...sometimes the buildings back home had feelings too. Sad, tired, rundown, ornery...

...come to think of it my neighborhood sucked.

[identity profile] drunkkareoke.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
*chuckles* It'd get along with some of the cars at the garage. A lot of run down vehicles there. I'm trying to fix them. It's not easy.

Do you have any specific talents that you could turn in to a hobby?

[identity profile] fasternlightbot.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
Finding new and interesting ways to irritate people~

[identity profile] justoutrunyou.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Now that's an idea I can get behind!

[locked]

How've you been lately? Still hiding out?

[identity profile] fasternlightbot.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
It's great fun, though it can get dangerous if your target has a skewed perspective of humor.

I've had my ups and downs. But I'm still alive and I'm still free, so it's good for the most part. And we're going to be hiding until they stop trying to arrest us or we get the okay to take them out.

[identity profile] justoutrunyou.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
I can understand that!

[locked]

Good to know! I worry sometimes, but you're more then strong enough to handle whatever the digital world throws at you!

Icon = so cute

Ah geeze sorry Hana! I was trying to be quiet.

Thinking of hobbies, fun stuff to do.

[identity profile] asakura-flower.livejournal.com 2009-09-13 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Guess I must be pretty boring when I'm stuck here.

[identity profile] drillsforhands.livejournal.com 2009-09-14 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Hm well other then figuring out awesome ways to blow stuff up?

... Quick Man~.

[identity profile] drillsforhands.livejournal.com 2009-09-14 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
I'm always awesome, girlie.

Underwater hockey. Best sport ever. I was so shocked they don't have it here that I actually got around to asking the pool staff if I could give lessons just so I'd have someone to play with somewhere down the track. That, and teaching tiny digimon how to swim gets real old.

[identity profile] justoutrunyou.livejournal.com 2009-09-14 01:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Underwater...hockey. Alright you've got my attention. How does it work?

[identity profile] whamonrider.livejournal.com 2009-09-15 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
It's like ice hockey in that you're shoving a puck around a flat surface with a stick, trying to score goals. Except that flat surface is the bottom of a pool, so you've got a snorkel and diving mask.

[identity profile] justoutrunyou.livejournal.com 2009-09-15 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Huh...sounds pretty cool! I never played Ice Hockey but my roommate used to love it...and when I was home I played street hockey once or twice but we never had the right equipment so I had to use a piece of pipe for a stick.

I could teach you Tin Pin if you want.

[identity profile] reaperreview.livejournal.com 2009-09-15 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
That's right. I guess the most basic explanation is that it's like marbles, but with pins.

[identity profile] justoutrunyou.livejournal.com 2009-09-15 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
So you like...try to knock the pins out of a circle with a ball? Like bowling?
